When I think about our church family and friends and guests meeting together for worship each week . . . I think Celebration! After a long week of walking in the world and meeting the challenges that each day brings . . . that's when I know that we need to meet to Worship and Celebrate. And because of God's faithfulness to walk with us each day . . . we look forward to coming together and joining our voices and hearts in worship. For worship is not a style of music or certain format of service; it is a day-to-day relationship with a holy God. And because of biblical tradition and instruction we come together to Sing and Praise our Living Lord.

The music ministry has the wonderful responsibility of leading our church family in a meaningful worship experience each week. From the majestic sounds of the organ to the stringed instruments and tympani . . . we join our voices in biblical praise each week. And what a glorious time in history to be singing praise. From the newest praise and worship chorus to the hymns of the faith, we blend each service with scripture and multimedia to see that the person in the pew looks past the people on the platform and are led to see our great God! Our largest musical group at New Liberty is our congregation. It is their singing each week that refreshes the soul and brings praise and honor to Jesus Christ.

We are very blessed in our church family to have many talented and gifted musicians. Following the Old Testament example, these people rehearse each week in the different choirs and in worship, leading and offering musical gifts to our Lord! We hope that you will come and be a part of the Music Ministry at New Liberty. We have opportunities of praise for all ages - from our very youngest to our senior saints - all are welcome to come and bring their musical gifts to this worship ministry.

This year I will complete my 30th year on staff here at New Liberty and never more before have I seen a people who want to serve Christ through their music and their daily lives. If you would like to join this awesome group just let me know and we will find the best place for you to use your gifts and talents. Together we will work each week to worship and see that God along receives our praise and glory. As the psalmist David sang so many times, "It is good to sing praise to our God."
