Bro. Ashlock has been our pastor since August 17, 1958. He received his Doctor of Divinity Diploma from Texas Baptist Institute - Seminary. He has held many positions in our associational work, including President of the American Baptist Association, President of the Missionary Baptist Association of Texas, and Chairman of the Baptist Sunday School Committee. He has served the community as Chaplain of the Garland Police Department, Garland Fire Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Rangers and Garland Emergency Corp.
Email: tammy@newliberty.comBrad has served at New Liberty since October 12, 1977. He is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He married Rhonda Ashlock in 1983 and they have one son, Timothy and his wife Kaycee. During his life-journey, he has seen the worship ministries of New Liberty grow deeper in their love for the Lord and for the kingdom work in this place. His responsibility of leading worship each week has caused him to be constantly seeking new and meaningful ways to not only present the gospel narrative but to involve the many members of the church family in praise and worship each time they meet. Along with the ministries within the church, Brad is busy reaching outside the church walls to be a witness. He has served along side Bro. Ken Ashlock as a Garland Police Chaplain assistant for more than 30 years. God has given Brad many opportunities to share his passion for worship and singing....from concerts around the world to singing in Carnegie Hall with the Dallas Symphony and Chorus...but his real joy and passion are seen when he leads our church family in worship each week. Soli Deo Gloria ~ to God Alone be the Glory!

Email: kyle@newliberty.comI am truly blessed to say I am first a Christian, then a wife and a mother of 2 girls, and was added the blessing of a son-in-law in 2009. I am originally from central Ohio, then moved to Texas at age 10, lived for a short time in Oklahoma City, then back to Texas. I lived life as a preacher's kid, and was raised by loving, Godly parents. God brought our family to New Liberty in April of 2004 and brought me to the position of financial secretary in February 2011. A glimpse at my work history which God used to bring me to this position were 7 years with Dillard's and 6 years with The Zale Corporation as a bookkeeper, I then worked for 12 years with Guaranty Bank in various positions, and finally Universal Technical Institute in the accounting department. I attended Arlington Baptist College and Eastfield Community College. The blessings in life I enjoy most are time with my family, watching my girls laugh together, eating, reading, walking, shopping and singing hymns. God has granted me blessings beyond measure and I pray I will live my life to reflect my gratitude for His great love and mercy.
